Capgemini, a recognised global leader in supply chain services, has collaborated with Sun to provide the enterprise market with comprehensive Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solutions for Supply Chain. Designed by Capgemini supply chain management and technology professionals, in conjunction with Sun, this solution is based on linking RFID to Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM) systems. The solution will enable sourcing and allocation decisions to be made in real time, so companies can achieve flexible and responsive supply chain execution. By using real-time business intelligence solutions, RFID-data can be used to optimise supply chain processes on a real-time basis.
