What do you do when you have something that is special, indeed, something experience has proven to be special?
That is the position Capgemini was in as we assessed the recent tumultuous period
in global business. With success after success, we knew we had a strong services
model on which to build our approach to business for many years to come. The result: the Collaborative Business Experience.
Darren Cahill, Andre Agassi’s tennis coach, has helped turn a champion into a universal legend. Beginning in 2001 when Agassi already had eight Grand Slam victories in 18 years on the court, the tennis star and his new coach forged a new championship career for Agassi at the top at an age when many pros are retired.
Tony Visconti, David Bowie’s sound engineer and producer, has helped create a musical signature recognized the world over. The pair met over 30 years ago when they both were 20 and Visconti has since produced many of Bowie’s most admired albums, from Space Oddity (1969) to Heathen (2002).
Ralph Vicinanza, Stephen King’s international publishing adviser, has been supporting the worldwide best-selling fantasy writer for 25 years. His contribution to Stephen King’s success led to the development of innovative projects, such as The Green Mile, a modern-day serial story published in paperback installments and Riding the Bullet, a fiction published on the Internet.
Filmed during relaxed moments - when the intensity of their work gives way to some quiet time from which they draw the energy needed to do their jobs effectively - Cahill, Visconti and Vicinanza give free rein to their thoughts and share the essence of the special collaborative relationships they have with these worldwide icons.
These three powerhouses symbolize what Capgemini calls the Collaborative Business Experience.
